Oil specification STJLR.03.5004

The STJLR.03.5004 oil specification was introduced for gasoline engine oils used in Jaguar and Land Rover cars as a replacement for the previously used Ford WSS M2C 925A or 925B specification. The STJLR.03.5004 specification meets the requirements of 5.0L V8 and 3.0L V6 engines and can be used when oils in the newer STJLR.51.5122 specification, which is better suited to winter conditions, are not available. Oils with the STJLR.03.5004 specification are most often combined with a viscosity of 5w20 and also meet the ACEA A1 / B1 standard. Oils with the STJLR.03.5004 specification should have the HTHS parameter of between 2.9 - 3.5 mPa * s.
