RN 0720

List of oils with the RN 0720 specification

The RN 0720 specification, developed in 2007 for Renault DPF diesel engines, meets the requirements of ACEA C3 / C4. This specification requires the engine oil to have a low ash content (Low-Saps, no more than 0.5% by weight), which is intended to reduce the rate of contamination of the DPF filter. Oil in the RN 0720 specification has a viscosity of 5w30.

Usage:

  • Cars with selected diesel engines with DPF produced by Renault between 2007 and 2018.
  • It can be used in selected Dacia and Nissan models.
