Oils with standard dexos1 Gen 2

Dexos1 Gen 2 is the standard for engine oils used in gasoline engines produced by the GM concern since 2017, which replaced the previous Dexos2 standard and is fully compatible with it. This means that it can be used in engines that meet the Dexos2 specification as standard. The Dexos1 Gen 2 standard obviously raises the bar in terms of oil quality.

  • Provides better protection against LSPI (Lowspeed Pre-Ignition) / SPI (Stochastic Pre-Ignition), - the phenomenon of premature ignition.
  • Dexos1 Gen 2 ensures that the effect of oil on the formation of deposits in the turbocharger is reduced. Oil with the Dexos1 Gen 2 standard must pass the GMOD oxidation test, which examines the performance of the oil at high operating temperatures to check the effect of oxidation on the performance of the lubricant.
  • Dexos1 Gen 2 is a standard that allows you to reduce fuel consumption. Proven in the NEDC - New European Driving Cycle tests.
